Day 14

Today we found the carcass of the beef we had last night for supper. Boy was it tough! lol

This is how they looked last week - contentedly grazing by the side of the road.
No joking we saw horses, cows and sheep grazing at the road's edge today. At least there are signs telling you to watch for them.
We had our first disappointing day today - Monument Valley. The rock formations were great, I was going to post some of them but uploading them takes forever and it's 9:45 now and I'm tired. We didn't go horseback riding - it was very hot and there were so many people there. I don't know why I thought it might be otherwise. Oh well.
Saw some great rock formations after we left, one we called the guardian. Maybe I'll post it later.
Anyway, tonight we're in Gallup, N.M. Bit of a joke gallup, horseback riding :) and it's good to be on the road again.
